A CLEAR WORKING RELATIONSHIP
Simple terms for working well together.
These terms govern use of our Canadian website and outline the principles that apply when engaging TechSky Media’s services.
Introduction
Effective date: July 17, 2026. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the TechSky Media website and to enquiries made through it. They are intended for users and clients in Canada. A signed proposal, statement of work or master services agreement governs any paid engagement and takes priority over these website terms if there is a conflict.
Website Use
You may use this website for lawful, personal or internal business purposes. You must not:
- Interfere with the website or attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Introduce malicious code of any kind
- Scrape content in a manner that harms the site
- Use the site in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights
Information on This Website
Website content is provided for general information and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, advertising-platform or professional advice. We make reasonable efforts to keep information current, but do not guarantee that every page is complete, accurate or available at all times. Marketing results depend on many factors and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in a written agreement.
Enquiries and Service Engagements
Submitting a form or booking a consultation does not create a client relationship or an obligation for either party to proceed. The following will always be set out in a written agreement before paid work begins:
- Fees, scope and timing
- Deliverables, approvals and expenses
- Payment terms and revisions
- Third-party costs and cancellation terms
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information and necessary access
- Giving timely feedback and approvals
- Holding rights to any materials they supply
- The legality, accuracy and substantiation of claims made about their business, products or services
Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, processes, templates, tools and pre-existing materials are owned by or licensed to TechSky Media and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Rights in project deliverables, including any licence or transfer, are only those expressly stated in the relevant written service agreement after applicable fees are paid.
Third-Party Services
Our website or services may involve third-party platforms such as search engines, advertising networks, analytics providers, hosting providers and social networks. Their terms, policies, availability and decisions are outside our control. We are not responsible for third-party interruptions, policy changes, account actions or results caused by third-party platforms.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TechSky Media will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, including lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from website use. Any direct liability connected with a paid service engagement will be governed by the applicable written agreement.
Governing Law
These website terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised terms. The current version and effective date will always appear on this page.
